QCM Maturité BIM Niveau 2

These four tests do not measure knowledge of a piece of software, but the operational ability to collaborate in BIM Level 2: agreement and requirements, common data environment (CDE), georeferencing, data structuring and IFC, coordination and BCF, quality control. Each question has six options to tick. Marking is done server-side: correct answers are never sent to the browser before submission.

Scoring and validation

  • Each question is worth 6 raw points: +1 for each correct option ticked, +1 for each incorrect option correctly left unticked.
  • A wrongly ticked option removes 1 point, with a floor of 0 points per question.
  • 15 questions = 90 raw points, converted to a score out of 100.
  • ≥ 80/100: GO · 65 to 79: GO with reservations · < 65: NO GO.
  • Additional condition: a GO requires that no critical question scores below 50%. Georeferencing, the CDE or IFC publication cannot be offset by a good average.
  • The report includes five sub-scores: BIM process & CDE, BIM production, data & IFC, collaboration, quality control.

After the test

Identified gaps are addressed with a targeted half-day to one-day upskilling session before design starts: OpenBIM & IFC, BIM Management, Revit or Archicad. To qualify a full team, contact us.
