OPEN BIM: better exchanges do not mean comprehensive checking
Enhanced IFC mappings do not mean Archicad 30 includes a complete clash detection, IFC compliance checking or IDS validation engine. Simplebim, Solibri and BIMcollab remain valuable for advanced transformations and validation.
A methodical migration
Check templates, properties, classifications, IFC translators, libraries and add-ons before migrating production projects. Test AI operations on a copy of the model, with appropriate permissions, change control and action traceability.

MCP: from conversation to action, with oversight
Archicad MCP enables structured access to model data from compatible AI applications, with potential for batch changes and automation. Knowledge spaces can contextualize responses using imported documents.
MCP features are in beta; availability depends on the subscription and associated entitlements. They guarantee neither stable automation nor ISO 19650 compliance and never replace human validation of deliverables.
Version, services and subscription: three separate levels
Archicad 30 is a software version. BIMcloud, BIMx and AI are complementary services. Studio, Collaborate and Max determine commercial entitlements: an announcement for the 2026 ecosystem does not imply access for every user.
Collaborate extends workflows with BIMcloud SaaS, MEP Designer, ProKit Suite and the Forma connection, subject to the plan’s terms. Max targets broader needs, with availability and entitlements to be confirmed. Existing commercial offers are presented separately below.
